| I have tried to give the motifs
on this guitar strap an Art Deco feel. It is made of 2.5 mm thick vegetable
tanned Cowhide on top with Ostrich leg inlays and Garment grade Calf leather
for the lining.
The design is hand carved and embossed and also hand cut, then hand painted , the inlays were glued in place and hand stitched around with green and yellow braided nylon cord . The lining was then also glued in place and the strap was hand stitched around with a red Nylon cord I have also included small round metal domes into the design. The buckle is covered in
Kangaroo leather and the button holes are reinforced with stitching. |
