Guitar Strap # 03 - to Emil - Geelong - Australia

Comment

I got your #03 guitar strap after looking for a well made one all over the net. All I have to say is all the other ones looked rather poorly made compared to any of the ones I found on Grouse guitar site. I’ve used it on my bass guitar for the last few months and it is looking better the more I use it and get lots of good comments. I also like the fact that there is a story behind the strap as well because whenever someone asks me about it I can tell them that the same hands that made it also made costumes in few well known movies. Thank you again and good luck with your new website.

Guitar Strap # 04 to Vincent - France

Made from 3mm (in fact, just over) veg tan hide, but this time from what is called a "shoulder " which basically means there is very little stretch or "give " in it (the shoulder part of a hide is less stretchy than the back).

Real, strong, durable leather with no slot (I noticed that 'slotted' straps looked sloppy when adjusted certain ways), so once again the saddlery "Pelham hooks" are used. Very adjustable and no tongues hanging out. These are 40"- 46" with the possibility of adding more holes.

Aged and thoroughly dressed with leather dressing for that already nicely worn leather look.

Those straps will get better and better with age and a regular feed of a leather dressing (like Dubbin)
