Those were originally designed specifically for the many guitarists who have expressed a desire for a simple plain no fuss guitar strap made with good solid saddlery type leather in mind.

The "O"series guitar straps are made of a strong and durable leather, 3mm vegetable tanned modeling hides, from the "shoulder" part, which basically means there is very little stretch or "give " in it ( the shoulder is less stretchy than the rest of a hide).

The adjustment has no slot ( I noticed that "slotted" straps looked sloppy, when done up certain ways) so saddlery "Pelham hooks" are used. Very easily adjustable and no tongues hanging out.

I have aged and thoroughly worked them with a leather dressing , "Dubbin", to soften them. As a result, they wrinkle up nicely to look like that kind of leather should and be pliable.

The "O"series straps will get better and better the more they are handled and used; as well as the very occasional feed of a leather dressing.
