After 30 years of touring I got completely sick of the "Black"
strap. I wanted something unique but with lots of quality, something
that looked great and felt great at the same time. I looked everywhere,
on the streets, and on the net and found nothing I was about to give
up. Then I landed on your internet site.
You were a Hell of a lot of fun to work with on these
straps, even when I changed my mind on a couple of things, it was
never a problem for you, it was very a cool ride through the world
of leather.
When you sent me the straps, they looked even
better than the pictures you kept updating me with. These are very
unique straps, and the quality
is so good that I know that I'm going to fall apart way before the
straps ever will.
Thanks Chantal, your a true artist

Hi Chantal
I
received my Mandolin Strap on Wed. July 5/06
You
did a wonderful job making it. It fits perfect on my Gibson Mandolin.I
really like the way you made the raised designs for me to feel, especially
since I'm leagally blind. I appreciate it so much.
Thank you very much

Hi
Chantal
The goods arrived today safe and sound.
I have to say that the belt and pouches are everything I was looking
for and more. You've done a superb job.
The leather is nicely aged and supple and everything fits perfectly.I
love the way that you have moulded the harp pouches exactly to the
shape of the harmonicas and, as you said, they are exactly the right
way round to pull out and play. The slides fit very well.....not too
tight not too loose. The catches also drop back into place nicely.
That's one piece of kit I can put on at the start of the gig and forget
about, knowing I've got what I want to hand when I need it. When you've
got guitar changes, different pedal settings, words, chords, how does
this number end? etc to think about one less thing to organise makes
life that bit easier and I can concentrate a bit more on the music
and the entertainment.
Thanks for all you ideas, enthusiasm and skill .

As the delighted new owner of strap number 30, I have to thank you
for making the whole process so easy. When I first contacted you I
really had no idea what I wanted other than a striking strap with
beautiful leatherwork. You talked me through the whole design process.
I ended up with with exactly what I didn't know I wanted! It really
is special. I know the price does not accord with the amount of work
and expertise you put into your straps. Your straps are genuine collectors
items. Good luck to you. You deserve every success.

I
got the slip in the mail yesterday that it was at the post office.
Picked it up today. I felt like a little kid on Christmas morning
when I was opening the package. You really outdid yourself. I didn’t
know whether to put it on one of my guitars…or on display under
glass. The job you did with that padding was great. Even with my Les
Pauls, the strap rides comfortably on my shoulder. And with the extra
grip from the suede lining, I don’t have to worry about the
headstock on my SG or bass taking a nose dive to the floor. I couldn’t
be happier”. Thanks again for a quality product. I’m sure
it will last a lifetime.

Strap arrived safely Friday and it looks great. It truly exceeds myexpectations
.Number 21 (affectionately known as “The Python”) just
fits the bill. I have walked around with it over my shoulder (my family
think I’m an idiot) but have not introduced it to a guitar as
yet. I can’t decide which one will get the privilege.

No one else makes straps like yours, or anywhere close to them.
Now days, when I look at ads for guitar straps, I always chuckle to
myself and think "Mine is much better than those". Kinda
like the guy that drives a Mercedes feels when he pulls up next to
an old Ford station wagon."

I got your #03 guitar
strap after looking for a well made one all over the net. All I have
to say is all the other ones looked rather poorly made compared to
any of the ones I found on Grouse guitar site. I’ve used it
on my bass guitar for the last few months and it is looking better
the more I use it and get lots of good comments. I also like the fact
that there is a story behind the strap as well because whenever someone
asks me about it I can tell them that the same hands that made it
also made costumes in few well known movies. Thank you again and good
luck with your new website.

"Just dropping a line to let you know that the Serial #1 strap
my fiancée ordered for my birthday has arrived. The picture
of the strap on your website was great (as are all your pictures).
This strap is just as stunning in person. I haven't seen this kind
of quality here in the States in almost 30 years. Please thank Chantal
for her talent and hard work.

"Got my guitar strap today for Christmas. I knew I was getting
it but I chose not to see it until this morning. I love it! Absolutely
perfect. And to think that it came from way down under. I guess your
Christmas is over by now but enjoy the rest of the season and thank-you
ever so much.."
